I never used my hands
Until I used them Lord for Thee.
You taught me the rewards
Of giving cheerfully.
I never used my voice
Until I sang out praise to You,
Or witnessed to others of Your Love.
You've taught me All Things New.
My life, once lived for me alone,
I now wish to live for Thee,
And everyday I wish to learn
Your perfect will for me.
Through trials, You calmed my fears
And taught me to trust in You.
When I've been weak, Your strength has stayed
To show me All Things New.

The Things The Lord Has Taught Me
Once, I wanted from God and answer,
But He simply told me, "Wait".
I sought His comfort and assurance,
Yet He said, "Child, live by faith."
"Please teach me, Lord," I cried out,
But He said, "You just won't hear."
Until I learned to yield my will
Then the still small voice rang clear.
For my desire, I fervently pleaded,
But I watched Him close the door.
I did not get what I wanted,
Yet He gave me so much more.
The things the Lord has taught me
I could have never learned in school.
No textbook, but God's Holy Word,
Could teach me the 'Golden Rule'.
In this whole wide world, no classroom
And no teacher could ever impart
Such things as God has taught me
Lessons etched upon my heart.

Never Underestimate The Power Of The Blood
Never underestimate the Power of the Blood,
For It's the only Power that can touch the Heart of God.
Never underestimate the Power in Jesus Name,
For in the Name of Jesus the dead will live again.
Never underestimate the Worth of one lost soul,
For by the Blood of Jesus Christ a sinner is made Whole.
Never Underestimate the Power!
For It's the only Power that can touch the Heart of God.
Never underestimate the Power in Jesus Name,
For in the Name of Jesus the dead will live again.
Never underestimate the Worth of one lost soul,
For by the Blood of Jesus Christ a sinner is made Whole.

Give Me The Oil Of Joy For Mourning
Give me the oil of joy for mourning
The garment of praise
That I may walk beside thee Lord
And love you all my days
That I may learn to trust you Lord
With a faith that always stays
Give me the oil of joy for mourning
The garment of praise.
As I walk along the road of life
There are some things I can't control
And when problems come as problems will
To wrench my very soul
When times of deepest sorrow
Come upon me like a sea
Watered with the tears that flow
Lord, you are all I need.
So in my weakness Lord, I come to you
And bow my knees in prayer
With assurance of your presence Lord
Knowing you will meet me there
And when doubts come as they sometimes will
I lift up my voice to thee
For your strength to hold me up
This is my earnest plea:
Give me the oil of joy for mourning
The garment of praise
That I may walk beside thee Lord
And love you all my days
That I may learn to trust you Lord
With a faith that always stays
Give me the oil of joy for mourning
The garment of praise.

Shoot That Giant Down!
There once was a giant
Stood over nine feet tall
He threatened the army
The army of the Lord.
Young David, Young David
Said, "I am not afraid
I'll go fight that giant
In the Lord's Name.
So David went bravely
Out to the battlefield
With only his slingshot
Against the giant's sword and shield.
Then David took sure aim
Straight for the giant's head
His stone struck Goliath
The giant fell down dead.
So if you are struggling
With giants in your life
Remember Goliath
And Fight In The Lord's Might!
Goliath, Goliath
Slingshot that giant down
Goliath, Goliath
Shoot that giant down
Shoot that giant down!

Walking With God
As a newborn baby, I slowly began
Crawling so slowly until I could stand.
Tottering, I'd stumble, suddenly alarmed,
I'd look to my Father with open arms.
Then my Father, so faithful, would help me up with his hand.
My hand in His now, I'd begin again.
That's how I started, but even today
My Heavenly Father is never far away.
He walks right beside me each path that I trod.
Oh, How Exciting! Walking With God!
Soon, getting stronger, I began to grow
So I thought that I could stand on my own.
Oh what a shock, I fell on my face!
But I found sufficient my Father's Grace.
Chastened and sorry, I'd reach up once again,
Realizing my true strength came only from Him.
Now, holding on tightly, once more I'm secure.
As I walk with my Father, of one thing I'm sure;
He will not let go as together we trod.
Oh, What A Blessing! Walking With God!
