JESUS IS THE REASON FOR ALL SEASONS

Jesus is the Reason for All Seasons
Not just the Christmas time, festive and grand
For He alone, our very own Creator
Fashioned the whole universe with His Hands.

He made the winter season with its splendor
Of freshly fallen snow, sparkling and white.
He painted the springtime season with scenic grandeur
As He caused the earth to blossom with new life.

The Lord made the bright sunlit days of summer
The tranquil nights when cricket songs are heard
He made the autumn, splashed with brilliant color
The falling leaves that dance upon the earth.

Yes, Jesus is the Reason For All Seasons
He is The King of Kings and Lord of All
Let us make Him Lord of our lives every season
In Winter, Spring, In Summertime and Fall.

How Long Halt Ye Between Two Opinions

I Kings 18:21 reads, “And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.”

Many people who call themselves Christians today seem to “halt between two opinions”. Indeed, they can’t seem to make up their minds, or they think that they can follow ' some of ' the things of the world and still follow God. The above verse states: “If the LORD be God, follow HIM!” It would be better to never call oneself a Christian than to follow after Baal (the devil and his worldly system) and say you are one. God is not the author of confusion! (1 Corinthians 14:33)

The apostles “left all” and “followed” Him (Luke 18:28). Many of those who call themselves Christians today (and I am talking about Born Again Christians) live their lives for themselves, not for the Savior. They are not “following”. They are Christians in name only, while their lives and lifestyles are not a witness for Christ. II Corinthians 5:17 reads, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” This verse does not say some things, or several things, it does not even say many things, but ALL THINGS Become New! The evidence of a true Child of God is a CHANGED LIFE!

In truth, we are all sinners with a selfish nature. If we feed the flesh, fleshly desires, etc., we can quench the Spirit of God living in us to the point where we do not look like or act like a Christian. The original meaning of “Christian” was “little Christ” or “like Christ.” Do we as Christians look and act like Christ did when He walked this earth? If someone came up to you and said, “I am just like you,” it might be fine with you if they were a good, upstanding, courteous (and everything else you would want to be seen as) person. However, if they were a thief, liar, drug dealer, drunkard, murderer, etc…, you would argue that they are nothing like you and would probably be highly offended. How must the LORD feel when we proclaim to be Christians, or little Christs, and continue living in our selfish, sinful ways?

As Philippians 3:14 states, we should “…press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Let’s take our Christianity seriously. The signs of the times attest to Christ’s coming drawing nigh. A true Child of God should be concerned and not want to be ashamed when the Savior returns. Let’s be ready!

Guilty Am I

Guilty am I, and worthy to die,
But Christ came and died in my place.
Now I am free for Jesus saved me
By His Mercy and His Wonderful Grace.

God's Riches At Christ's Expense,
Christ's Spotless Blood my defense.
I am a sinner, unworthy, I cry,
"Guilty, Guilty am I."

Though Guilty I be, yet Worthy is He
Who left Heaven's splendor above.
He came to die for one unworthy as I
All because of God's Amazing Love.

God's Riches At Christ's Expense,
Christ's Spotless Blood my defense.
I am a sinner, though Unworthy though I be,
Worthy, Worthy is He!

Now Redeemed am I by the Blood of the Lamb
For Jesus has set me free.
Free from all guilt, though guilty I be,
Jesus has paid the Full Pardon for me.

God's Riches At Christ's Expense,
Christ's Spotless Blood my defense.
Though I'm a sinner, unworthy, I cry,
"Redeemed, Redeemed am I!

For now I am Saved, I am washed in the Blood.
"Glory! Hallelujah!" I sing
Praise from the lips of this unworthy tongue.
Now and Forever to honor the King!

God's Riches At Christ's Expense,
Christ's Spotless Blood my defense.
Though Unworthy, Now I Am Saved!

Seek Not To Offend

Seek not to offend, but to encourage others.
Seek not selfish desires, but Godly wisdom.
This life is not the end all,
So let's stop living like it is.
Christian remember to do all for the Glory of God!
‎...and perchance you are not saved, remember
Eternity is only ONE HEART BEAT AWAY
Don't put off until tomorrow
What you should have done yesterday!

You Are Unconditionally Loved

From the moment I first saw you on the day that you were born

A strong love flowed inside my heart to stay

For a precious little baby filled my arms so sweet and warm

As you’ve grown my love’s grown deeper every day.

You are unconditionally loved

My essence and my all you are part of

You hold the key to my heart’s door

I will love you forevermore

You are unconditionally loved.

And just like a tiny baby with childlike faith you came

And became a Child of God on that day

As you placed your faith and trust in Christ, now part of God’s Family

If you listen you will hear the Father say,

You are unconditionally loved

My essence and my all you are part of

From the moment that you came to me

I pledged my love eternally

You are unconditionally loved.

So now as you walk through this world, know you’re part of God’s own plan

He will guide you safely on along life’s way

Keep on trusting, Keep on holding tightly to the Father’s hand

It’s a love that this world can not take away.

…For You are unconditionally loved

My essence and my all you are part of

From the moment that you came to me

I pledged my love eternally

You are unconditionally loved.

You are unconditionally loved

There’s nothing you could ever do

To cause me to stop loving you

You are unconditionally loved.

…You hold the key to my heart’s door

I will love you forevermore

You are unconditionally loved….

I LOVE YOU MORE

A little boy looks in his mother’s eyes

She’s the one that he adores

As he’s held within her loving arms

He feels safe and secure

And he says “I love you mommy”

Of this one thing she is sure

…and she whispers in his ear, “I love you more”.

"I love you more than the ocean breeze

More than the bright blue sky

More than the daffodils

More than the tiny birds that fly

More than the summer sun shining warm upon my face

…no one can take your place, I love you more."

A young girl walks with her father

They stroll along hand in hand

She stops to look up at him

And on her tip-toes stand

Gives him a kiss upon his cheek

“Daddy, I love you” she assures

Daddy whispers in her ear “I Love You More.”

"I love you more than the sunshine

More than the mountains tall

More than all of my possessions

My love for you is over all

The love I have for you can never be erased

…no one can take your place, I love you more."

God looks down from Heaven

As he gazes at the earth

And He sees all of His children

Who have come to Him by birth

They lift their voices up in song

Singing, “How we love you Lord!”

Then Christ show them His nail-scarred hands

And says “I Love You More!”

"I love you more than vast green earth

More than the sun and moon that shine

More than all creatures great and small

I Love and Call you mine

You see it was for you, my child, all things I did create.

No one can take your place, I Love you more."

Remember Freedom

America, land of the Free,
Remember how you gained your liberty.
Remember Freedom, before it dies.
Remember those who gave of their lives.
Remember Freedom comes with a Cost.
Remember Freedom, before it’s lost.
Be thankful to God for those who paid the price,
And for those willing to make the ultimate sacrifice.
This Nation has been blessed, you see.
Remember Freedom is Never Free!
Remember Freedom is fleeting fast,
If we do nothing, it may not last.
The Hand of God has blessed us all,
America, Hear Freedom’s Call,
“Remember Freedom!”.
